my biggest fear is getting old and becoming ignorant. i use to think that because you are older that you were wiser and that you automatically knew things. WRONG! oh was i wrong. there is a girl on my Monday and Wednesday class that is around the age of 23 or 24 and she knows nothing! its soooo annoying. today my teacher gave a white girl in my class some dap (SPELL CHEEK) you know the things that “only” black people do (sarcasm) when we make our fist touch; a salutation. sooo ignorant girl yells “why would you do that to her she dose not know how to do it or what it even means?!!” i look back at her in pure disgust. ugh. there is no white way or black way there is just a way! so i left that one alone….. then my teacher explains another example …… she tells us how it is rude to pile your plate up at formal dinners well ignorant girl disagrees. yelling across the room again “WHAT?? i aint never heard of that! if im hungry i should be able to get as much food as i want.” Jesus girl do you have any darn sense! just talking to here yourself! or are you that clueless that ignorant??
so now i have developed a new fear. being ignorant. embarrassing my self in front of a group of people because i dont know basic stuff. i will do whatever i can to continue to educate my self. i can and will not be ignorant and close mined.
What should I Tumbl about today? How people who take music too seriously are fucking stupid? Because they are. If you often…nevermind. I’m not a fan of music. Because it’s art, and art is fake. I don’t go out of my way to indulge in falsehoods. When everything from Marco Polo’s travels to “A…
today in my Monday and Wednesday class my teacher left out of the room and a girl(Jasmine) in my class who sings was trying to sale her CD for a dollar. and behind her was a girl who was a rapper(Ashley) these people are grown by the way like 21 and up. anyway there was an discussion about music Jasmine started talking about how Nicki Minaj and Soulja Boy where terrible rappers. so i was like yeah pretty boy swagg is terrible she was like who came up with the word swagg. everybody who knows me knows i hate the word swagg i stated that i hated the word swagg and jasmine burst out saying “you dont like swagg b/c you dont have any” i was like “awwok” she was like yeah look what you got on thats something someone older would have on. ( i had on a green tank and a necklace from new york and company and store for people in there college years) anyway i was like define swagg then she said “its like style how you dress how you look on the outside.”i quickly retaliated ”woah woah swagg is clearly about your personality not how you look on the outside looking at someone on the outside is judging someone.” she replied by saying i was stupid and i wouldn’t go far in life b.c i knew nothing about life. i said “your crazy i feel sorry for your child b/c of her mothers ignorance. you are so old but yet so ignorant, you should do like the word swagg and go far away and stay away now my swaggless self is leaving so i can educate myself to be what i already am, smarter than you.”
i never realized how dumb grown people can be until i attended southwest yeah i have encountered some situations with some ignorant grown people but some people are just horribly stupid. how do you let yourself get soo damn stupid?? that nothing but ignorance come out.
“I just broke up with someone and the last thing they said to me was “You’ll never find anyone like me again!” I’m thinking, “I should hope not! If I don’t want you, why would I want someone like you.”—

“The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company… a church… a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past… we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. And so it is with you… we are in charge of our Attitudes.”—
